Daphne Charles - holistic Architect

Growing up in both Singapore and Australia, Daphne gained an early appreciation for the diversity of experience and perspective. Recognising the universal importance of balance – in body, mind, relationship, and environments – led to Daphne's twin professions as a holistic architect and yoga teacher. Seeing that our "inner" and "outer" worlds are merely different aspects of the same whole, living system, as expressed in our ancient wisdom traditions, Daphne seeks in all her work to catalyse harmony between thought, action and manifestation.

Her speciality is in holistic and sustainable buildings and the energetics of space. She also utilises energy balancing methods to create or recalibrate a space toward harmony. Daphne is a holistic architect practising internationally; a licensed Biogeometry practitioner; an experienced yoga teacher and cofounder of Routes of Yoga Daphne is Co-director of Bio Arc, Singapore, specializing in Biogeometry and is a faculty member at Dharmalaya Institute for Compassionate Living, providing training in sustainable architecture, contemplative design, yoga and meditation in the Himalayas. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Earthville Network, an international nonprofit organisation.
